My other cousins dog. My cousin and her family adopted her near the end of December. Hazel was found wondering the streets somewhere. She can’t use one of her back legs properly, the people said that she might have gotten an injury that damaged her nerves there, or something like that, but despite her hardships, and the fact she has some ways to get a bit better (while she’s been taken care of by those who helped rescue her, she’s still rather skinny tbh. My cousin and her husband and family who live there in general are gonna help her with that.) Hazel is still a very sweet animal, and doesn’t let being hurt make her bitter and angry towards the world. She’s very kind, sweet and will even curl up and sit next to you just for the sake of it. Ik I have only met her few times, but I’m very happy she has such a loving family now, and that they have another wonderful dog that is like and practically looks identical to their dog Diego. Diego also I believe was a dog found after a big hurricane hit, yet has been one of the kindest dogs I ever met as well, albeit a bit shy, so visitors at their house tend to give him space until he feels comfortable to approach. Hazel seems to be a lot more social. Both are overall and I’m so happy for Hazel.)
