Some tell tales of the beasts that they fall...

others claim to have seen the edge of it all...

the tavern folk spin yarns with such twists...

but few of Rimoria dare brave the mists...

The Bubbling Mistmoor

This is a large expanse of land, no one has a fully accurate map of the place. Every edge of the moor are covered in open expanses of wetlands. There are some small groves of trees but the deeper one goes into the mists the more trees one will find. However most people stick to the marshlands and are lucky to find the groves that they do happen upon. The entire area is covered in a permanent blanket of mist. The bubbles that form here from the water, plants, and fauna end up being filled with mist as well. Bubbles that float a great deal of distance away from the moor still retain the mist inside until they burst.

The people of Rimoria will journey around the misty land to avoid becoming lost or falling victim to the dangers lurking within. Not even the folk who live here know their way around the whole moor so settlements are usually found on the edge or barely all the way in. Still, the land's mysteries and hidden treasures attract some of the bravest of adventurers.

People who survive and eventually pop out of the ocean of mist each have tales of different sights they have come across. Some claim to been poisoned by some plant or creature and then moments later they are bit by an adorable Vampubble Bat. These are a breed of bat who have transparent bubble bellies which fill up with blood they have sucked up. The creatures however do not feed on every creature they see willy nilly, they feed on creatures they can sense have been poisoned. It is a win win, no death by poison and the bat feeds. They also eat on fruits and insects.
