I was away from home on a break and I only had my phone with me - so I didn't have access to the resources that I tend to use these days when creating images for my poems. But I also wanted to share the piece with my social media followers so I created this on the phone; and went for raw and torn rather than polished ... to crudely resemble scars. I will eventually make a new image for this piece but I still like this one that was created in the midst of the pain and anger that I was feeling in that moment.
