I don't usually do metaphorical pieces, but this one spoke to me... I created this digital artwork using Photoshop and my imagination. Therefore, these flowers are very stylized, and do not represent a real breed of flower. They do, however, hold a lot of symbolism. The "parental" flowers are bathed in sunlight, while the sheltered "child" is starved and trapped in its bud. Like this flower, human children will never bloom if they are sheltered from the real world.
