It's such an epic band with a wonderful vocalist! 
The only thing is perhaps the fan, to bring better out the zigzag shape you could have darkened the other side of each fold and leave the other with more light. Just an advice, even if it was an old piece.

I like the way you used the higlights in this portrait. And I like the tones tending to the blue in the color pallette in this work too.
And I like bands with mixes traditional japanese music with rock/metal; like Onmyouza (at least in the visual style), Wagakki Band and Crow x Class.
