So for a while now I've been fairly interested in ZharLycanKing 's Tera Physio setting (www.deviantart.com/zharlycanki… ), particularly Sylph (www.deviantart.com/zharlycanki… ), the daughter of philanthropic adventurers who's quite lucky to gain psychic powers (namely, levitation and limited mind-reading) but not so lucky in terms of the events that led her to that point (On a journey to a remote tribe where she was born she contracted polio almost immediately after birth, lost use of all four limbs to it and would've perished right then and there were in not for the intervention of the tribe's medicine man. The healing ritual is where she got her powers from as a side effect).

Here, I wanted to explore a situation where she can't make much use of her powers, if at all, in public for about the same reasons why Peter Parker doesn't show up in classes wearing his Spider-Suit. This would, to my mind, require her to use a chin-controlled powerchair, allowing her to blend in with the crowd seamlessly (well, as seamlessly as someone with no functioning arms nor legs can be).
