Description

After vanquishing and feasting on the flesh of one of his divine rivals, the ravenous tyrannosaur god Sauron roars towards the heavens that storm above the new Urth.
Sauron is one of the playable characters in the 90s arcade game Primal Rage, which was essentially a Mortal Kombat-style fighting game set in a post-apocalyptic Earth (renamed "Urth") with dinosaurs and giant apes. These monsters were actually revived gods vying with one another for dominion of the planet (when not munching on their human followers). Being a T. rex who munched on his enemies after beating them, Sauron was easily my favorite of the roster.
And believe it or not, even though he had to consume human flesh in order to stay immortal, the game's lore claimed that Sauron was one of the more benevolent gods of the bunch. I can only guess he took good care of his disciples when he wasn't feeding on them.
