ground looks depressing but mountain and sky is just beyond magical

I really love how the rural areas caught my attention at first, then my eyes drifted off to the pink/orange light and then I saw those mountains. Wow, what an unbelievable capture! It looks very surreal, almost like it's two different photographs in one shot. Probably because of the low clouds/fog and the line of trees in the background.
I really like how flat the foreground is and how much mountains there are in the upper half of the picture. The light couldn't have been more perfect and I love how the sun seems to be kissing that mountain peak with the last warm light of the day.
For some reason it feels really cold, while the pink/orange light really adds a lot of warmth to the entire atmosphere of this photograph. And now that I mentioned cold, I see that one of your tags is #frost , so I must be right about that cold, haha.
All in all a wonderful shot. Great composition, amazing light!
