Hmm, technically excellent and an interesting concept, but it doesn't surprise me to realize this painting is in a gallery with many insect photos! The huge eyes, the little arms/hands that reminded me of palps like a grasshopper's mouthparts...

I love the proportions in this image so much. It is amazing how you managed to draw the viewers eye to the hands, as that seemed to be a slight focal point of this piece. The piece overall is simply amazing. I am deffinently purchasing a framed print as soon as I can!!
