I love it totally, the grotesque/burlesque embiance of this painting is wonderful ! it suck us right into it. The terrebly sad look on here face, this wicked wiggeling puppet wich we are not quite shure if it controlling or it is beeing controled... the over used and trashed decore !!!! just plain fantastic!

I adore the vibrant madness of this picture. She looks less enamoured with her performance than she used to, and has become a parody of her former self. Is the strange creature a top her head controlling her or is she controlling it? Neither can remember any more.
You can really see the Hussar influence in this piece yet it has a sadder edge to it. A truimph of a piece.

I really enjoy the contrast between the stylised and more painterly areas....it complements the suspended reality of the piece,and I love the irony of using strong, warm colours to illustrate a melancholy and macabre scene......you could read a lot into this-a most interesting and twisted work!!
......The warm,lush colours and technique drew me in,but I'd stay for the fascinating subject matter!

First thing I thought of was Michael Hussar. I am glad to see that this was insprired by his work. Being a fan of Hussar's work, I actually thought this was one of his paintings. You definitely pulled off the feel his paintings provoke. This is a success! Very well done, good sir.

Michael hussar is a great one. I like this and the irony, happy feet... Like the mith of the sad clown. But though it seems it's the rag doll the thing to look at, I find the puppeteer a lot more attractive. It's very interesting and a privilege to see your wips (I assume this is not finished), how the underlayer is so messy, to become so exquisite. It's fearless. I wish one day I will have a painting of yours hanging in my wall
