I personally liked the previous version better. The larger ammounts of blue and the washed out gold of her hair gave it a little more emotion.

The black and white version leaves more to interpret of the picture. It made me try to guess at the color. I thought that she would have white hair and didn't even think about green or any other colors. Parts of the black and white I like more than the color, and other parts I like about the color. I really like the tear in the color one, but I guess it's because I like blue, besides, it gives it a more crystal-like appearance when it has a hue. I like the clothes in the color, and the skin and hair in the b&w. I also like the bubbly/spots part at the bottom of the color version.

You're right about the black and white version - it's a bit smoother and looks pleasing to the eyes. Wow, I really like the way you've worked on the face.. it looks beautiful. Also, the bottom of the image, how the darker part fades like that, quite neat! All in all, the concept is great, and you've done a good job. Keep it up
