Well, that verse isn't done yet so time to introduce one of my other next gens!
Things to know about Connectionverse
Since I know some people think Caramel is a member of the Apple family, allow me to clarify the canon (at least for this verse).
The Caramel and Apple families are very close due to them being business partners for generations. Caramel's family has been producing Equestria's best caramel treats for many decades thanks to their partnership with the Apple clan.

When creatures are born, they start to develop what's known as a soul link. The soul link can be a matching marking, a red string, a countdown timer, a telepathic connection, there's many different kinds of links! These soul links connect creatures to their soul mate(s). Some know who their soul mate is at a young age, others find out much later in life, some accept their fate, others choose to ignore it.
