Oh, young George and his dad give me a whole assortment of feels… (This is like.. the most typical dad/son thing you can do though omg)
This is Paperman Project related and was the day George discovered his powers because of an accident. He was 8 years old at the time. I’ll just say he’s not a fan of deep water since the traumatic experience…
Also if his dad looks familiar that’s because he’s also the boss in the short. Richard ends up having George work under him to keep a close eye considering his powers.
It's a really rough pic but it was nice as is I thought.

This is so incredibly cute and sweet! It also brings back nostalgic feelings of the opening the the Andy Grifith show. I really want to start whistling the tune while I look at this. Little George looks so adorable, and good job on making a younger version of a character still resemble the adult!

Well, fishing doesn't need to be set to sexes but for some reason it sort of is traditionally?? I would have gone fishing with my dad too but I was too young at the time. My older sister did though.

I was surprised to see you made his boss to be his dad, so I watched Paperman again with that idea in mind.. And wow, it fits in so well!
I love how your fanart grows and inspires and evolves into original sequels and backstories and all that.

Ahaha Oh man though... We studied that short so much to create more off of it. We didn't just make a fanfic side thoughts, we've made a full length movie and then some out of Paperman. We're even going to pitch it to Disney and all that.
The boss being the dad though was something that first stood out to me when I first saw it to be honest. Considering he was the youngest working there, how many chances he gave him, but mostly the looks they would share. And then it all built off from there.
But gee, I'm glad you enjoy my stuff and crazy concepts based on these things. X'D
(Also if you'd like to find out more about the Paperman Project I only share it more openly in my livestreams when I'm online. This is one of the rare postings of it though since it doesn't give much away...)

Yes, I've seen a few announcements of your livestream but I was always too late
But I'll keep an eye on it, I'm very interested!
I can imagine you have watched it many times (if I had more time I would have, it's so pretty) to get your story right and indeed their interaction is very different from the normal boss-employee relationship (plus everyone else working there is indeed much older). But that father-son idea was the start the whole Paperman Project concept?!
I really hope all the hard work you are putting into it will be supported by Disney at some point! It would be awesome to see this come to life in animation!

Well... I suppose it was the start of the actual story, yeah. I mean, I drew some fluffy fanart pics first on the side, but that was what started forming more backstory and all that and it took off from there. 
I really hope that things work out for it too! It means the world to me now. X]

I just saw some storyboard videos on your livestream (although not live) and I'm sooo excited! They are so dynamic and full of emotion and just lovely
I still hope I'll catch you working on them live because without explanation one can only guess. Even though most of it speaks for itself I don't know if I draw the right conclusions about the story. Anyway, it looks great, and it just makes me happy and very curious.
