Yo! kitchen sink and a glass, i put laminated coloured card behind the glass and lit it from the front with a very powerfull torch! Camera was on the tripod leaning pretty much over the sink. Once manual focused i started the drips from the tap (just put it on really low) kept my finger hovering on the shutter button and the torch pointing at the glass i think i also had the camera on multi fire... exif is
Aperture priority
F/3.2
1/1000
iso - 100
I find the lens tack sharp with no back or front focus... usm focus is fast and most of the time on...colour is pretty good too. have used it in a class at college for portraits but maybe a little long the 50mm F1.8 does pretty well for me there.
