What most folks fail to realize is simply this: it's a three-dimensional thing. NOT like the weird-ass heading that DA has for 3-D work- which isn't. All of my sculpts are meant to be seen from a variety of views and several other sculptors and doll makers like to see the various angles, whereas the collage effect doesn't provide a large enough view- I personally dislike it when others submit them that way and won't do it myself. And as far as the short attention span for long text on the computer, I think we all have issues with that, and I'm aware of that- I have issues with it myself. I guess my thing about people who have issues with my numerous submissions of my work- it's been called tedious to have to look at all of them, which is the most insulting and abrasive thing one could have said to me about my work- is this: if it's something you can't be bothered with, then don't. Either just go to my site and look at the gallery where the thumbnails can be viewed regardless of the individual being subscribed or not and decide which ones to view. Photos of sculpture is not the same as a 2-D image.

There is just so much personality in your work. I find it difficult to believe that this is crafted, and not a photo taken of an actual faerie. I would love to draw this guy's portrait.

Hrmmmm ... maybe I should try that myself.
I've been thinking about building a 1/4 model of Misha from Sculpty ... any suggestions on how to start?

Whew, that would be a challenging sculpt! You would have to do that one in stages- do the armature so that it has one for the wings maybe, then sculpt the body, fire it a little, then the wings....then sculpt the armor over it all...I dunno! I'd have to think on that one more.

It would be a challenging sculpt for even an experienced sculptor- not impossible though.

The end possible end product makes me wish I had the skill to pull it off right.

I need not say much...but holy cow IΒ΄m so impressed! The hat, the wrinkles, the expression, the pipe, the hands, the clothes and the bread! You captured the right feeling for the Leprechaun, exactly as I imagine one, stunning, IΒ΄ll be drooling for some time now, if youΒ΄ll excuse me...
You know what! Since youΒ΄re my god in sculpting, how would you like to be somewhat of a mentor for me if any problems occur during my project-time? Someone whom I could throw my balls of thought to, like we say in Sweden. Huh?
My project is about making atleast 10 sculpey models and then painting them.

Thank you Emil...and I would be honored. You made my day mate. Anything I could do to help a talent like yours- but I can't imagine you'll need too much! Feel free to send me a note here, or to e-mail me at info@kevinbuntin.com Too bad we don't live closer- the life a sculptor is a rather solitary one, and being able to sort of work with another artist is nice and rare. You truly honor me. I am touched.
