Description Finished at long last!!!! Overall, I'm pleased with the end result. I hope the actual customers will feel likewise! I am still surprised by how "real" Owen looks- he even stood up to scrutiny with the original file size of the photos and with the Macro function on!

This is a fantasy/portrait doll of dear friend and esteemed colleagues nephew. It ended up looking like a sort of slightly more wizened/Changeling version of Owen, but I still felt that I captured enough of the little guy to be unmistakably Owen.

It was tough really, I did a kind of summary of the real Owen's many expressions and what seemed to me to be the essence of his overall character as I perceived it via the photo references I had for him... if that makes sense. This remains one of my most challenging pieces to date! It means a lot to me that you like it so much my friend.

Thank you my friend- it's nice be missed! Things have been a little slow here, but I was mostly involved with my Workshop and a lot of family stuff. I'm hoping to get the ball rolling again though after having finally finished this piece. I'm pretty happy with him too! And it makes me happy to have made your day Brother Bear!
