The next in the series of pieces that and I have collaborated on:Buffin the Grig Warrior!
I went a very different route on his costuming here, using almost entirely natural items on him. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while now. The vast majority of these materials came from another very kind fellow Deviant here on DA Another fine example of why any artist should consider being here on DA.
It isn't always about whether or not you can use a place for sales- or about using a place or people at all. Sometimes it's just about community and friends...Thanks Pattee, thanks Janet...thanks everyone! I may never get rich at doing this and may very well never be known beyond my own tiny slice of the world, but here I am...in good company.He'll be up on eBay somethime soon- this time in Pattee's eBay shop here: [link]

You have to contact Frederic Cotton from the Trolls and Legends Festival, i came back from there a month ago and this is exactly the kind of things i saw there but each artist has their style, so it's not exactly the same.
This is the link to the festival, they make it every two years, hopefully you could participate the next festival, is in Belgium and it seems that in just that weekend at least 10 thousand people came to the festival.

Thank you- I wish I could attend that show, but it is very doubtful that I would ever be able to afford to go to Belgium, though I would love to do so for many reasons, the festival just being one! I find it difficult to travel within the US alone to shows out of town...poor starving artist and all. I am really quite unknown and still struggling...

Same here. SAME HERE! i found a friend there and he helped a lot.
I think i spent around $3000. I recovered the flight expenses and the rest i'm still paying it but well....i met Alan Lee! and two of my favorite bands! And the chance of participating again. They payed the Hotel and food. Even my friend got the chance to meet all of them and stood in the hotel with me and with all these nice artists including Alan Lee. Again, i'm still paying things slowly, very slowly but i managed to go. I did it! me! i eat beans and rice almost every day, don't have a car, i rent, don't go out ever, i even have a small daughter. And still i managed to go. If you really want to make things work, you will find out a way to do it. I will never regret the money we spent so i could go there. I met fabulous people and a good deal with a company that sells posters, prints, mugs, calendars and stuff.

As to the rest, well, at forty and being a married man who has to help out with the family and my wife- who suffers from MS- it has become very difficult for me to take off on such bold adventures. I find it hard to find the energy and nerve- I admire you for your adacity and energy and bravery!
