Description Just finished vol. 6 of Scott Pilgrim Finest Hour! The whole series is awesome, with the video game references, crazy fight scenes, and miss Ramona Flowers herself :-D

Anywho, this is my 2nd art dedicated to the comic and I wanted to throw some references to video games that I grew up on in there. Plus the movie is gonna come out this weekend and I am stoked!!!!

Nice one, the classic hero/barbarian pose works really well for a scott pilgrim fan art (though it'd probably be Knives more than Ramona that you would find swooning and worshipping Mr Pilgrim like that - but I completely understand why you've put Ramona in that position. It's Scott's fantasy! Hehe.) I really like how you've depicted them in your own illustrative style but they're still immediately recognisable as Bryan's characters too. Top stuff sir, you rule ultimate!

I think many of us feel that way musiccrazysniper, Bryan managed to capture the voice of a generation - I think that's why it works so well. For me it's been a wild ride because I'm now 31 and completely grew up while the books came out. I don't actually go to band gigs anymore or even have time to play a lot of video games, have way more responsibilities in life and yet I completely identified with the main character Scott when I first opened Precious Little Life 6 years ago. Nowadays I look at all the new fans the book/movie has accumulated and most of them are a lot younger than me but they still also identify with all the characters, I guess everybody shares a common twenty-something lifestyle and nothing has really changed about that in the past decade.
