Ahhh...my dear Zakuro
I just had to draw him again after re-reading some Reload chapters. He's just so delicious...even though he's pretty much covered up here
Was doing this oekaki when I suddenly tripped up the layer settings...so the background is crap >_>

But seriously, I do really like the way you draw Zakuro. In the fic I'm writing, A Brand New Life, I plan on Zakuro playing a big part in the next chapter. He's just so much fun to write!

Zakuro doesn't have crows following him. The one with crows is Ukoku. Zakuro is such a dork that it's just funny to see him failing to be the so called 'evil villain' he's trying to be. Though, he was quite convincing when he first appeared. I guess he is powerful, just not evil. And the fact that even Kougaiji himself can't stand him is amusing.
May I read the fic too please?

I guess I was thinking of a little scene in Saiyuki Reload manga, volume 5 where Zakuro is standing on this cliff, talking to himself...all goofy like he does and then these crows start pecking him. The first time you see crows with Zakuro is right after Kougaiji's mother sends Zakuro after the Sanzo party and I always took it, the crows were Nii's way of sending messages.

I think the crows are Nii's messengers too. Probably sent to watch Zakuro and report to base.

The first time Zakuro meets Sanzo, Hakkai and Gojyo, he tells Doku and Yaone that Lady Gyokumen never did trust either one of them. He doesn't come right out and say that she sent him, it's more implied than anything.
Right after Sanzo, Hakkai and Gojyo break out of Zakuro's illusion and you see Zakuro...talking to himself again...I think it's the next page where you see all these crows circling about Zakuro. That's in Reload volume 4.
I got the idea for A Brand New Life from a little scene from Reload volume 5 where Hakkai tells Gojyo what kind of woman he would want to fall in love with. Oh and just so you know...none of my stories are yaoi and they are usually romance and I create an OC and try my hardest not to make her a "Mary Sue".

Ohh..okay. I thought there was a scene where Zakuro is actually talking to Gyokumen Kyushu. Those crows...I didn't understand that part. Did Zakuro look up because of the number of crows circling above him or was he surprised to see so many crows passing the area?

It's funny when the arrow points at him explaining "he's used to talking to himself". I cracked up when I saw it. Oh man..he's so ridiculously funny it makes him lovable
Crows somehow go very well with him, with his tattered jacket and all black costume. Gives him the dramatic edge

I was fine up until you mentioned the shackles Homura wore and now all I can picture is Zakuro with those. Good heavens, blumarine! Are you trying to make me die from the hotness that would be Zakuro shackled up like that?

I really hope I can make this picture as good as I imagined. We can change the shackles a bit so it won't look exactly like Homura's, maybe...with leather cuffs instead of metal?

I know I have three stories that need updating, but now I've got a little Zakuro running around in my head. He's wearing his black, skin tight pants, his torn cloak, fingerless gloves and those handcuffs!!!
Ya know, maybe Yaone is sick of dealing with him and she lures Zakuro to the castle to "teach him a lesson". After all, Yaone isn't getting action from Kougaiji or Dokugakuji and she certainly doesn't want touched by Ni! (Although, when he's in his Sanzo robes, he's freakin hot!)
And maybe while Yaone is teaching him a lesson of what happens when you go against Kou and the gang, Zakuro hyptonizes her and....much lemony goodness ensues!

Ehehe...poor Yaone, surrounded by hot guys but still not getting any. Nii scares me. He's too oily and ...ugh...I don't like him. I read a fic once about Zakuro raping Yaone and that is just sick 
You know, I think he'll probably humor her a little, tease her out of her wits with promises of hot steamy passion and she still ends up not getting it. Nobody tells Zakuro what to do. But hmm...he might have to take care of his ' problem' after all that teasing. *pervy giggle* So I guess two of them doing it is okay, as long as Zakuro teaches her a lesson for even trying to control him.

At first, I thought Zakuro would have Yaone hyptonized to be like his "slave" but...that's not the case. *hangs head in shame* Yaone has him right where she wants him...standing up, chained with his arms over his head and nothing on but his black leather pants.
