This is my new drawing of Selena Gomez
. The drawing is not my best I think. Let me know what you think. This piece took me a LONG TIME. I did't count the hours. This is the first drawing I could finish since my 14th birthday. I'm so happy that I finished it

Wow this is amazing, not just Selena, but also the background. The last time I did a solid black background for a drawing, it was terribly difficult to get even somewhat smooth. Keep up the great work!

This is so wonderful and realistic! You ve done a great job! Like your background too, did you use the 9B and how many layers did it take to get it this dark and smooth! Its an amazing drawing but so are all of your drawings

Thank you. For the background I use a black color pencil. And my camera is another reason for the smooth look.

There is an odd sense of 3 dimensional space here. It's actually quite mesmerizing and I'm not sure what exactly gives it that effect. I feel like I'm looking into a box and she is inside

It's beautiful and you really have a talent if it comes about shading(her skin is so smooth, and i like her mouth and hair), but I think she doesn't look like Selena. Maybe it is the original picture's fault? Can I have a look at a reference photo?
