Some concept art for the character of Venus!

In this spin she is not a mutant like the boys. Instead she is an alien from the planet of Shell-Ri-La. (Turtleoid) She's a practitioner of the mystic arts and is working towards becoming a master but isn't quite there yet. She has a lot to master still but she's willing to put the hard work to get to it.

I had a TON of fun with the little lady. I took a huge amount of inspiration from her IDW design since I really loved how that one looked. But still tried to give it my own personal touches to make it mine. Plus, having her be my starting ground for what Turtleoids look like in Welcome to the New Age.

On Shell-Ri-La the turtles there are various shades of aqua, green and blue (And on rare occasions, pure white) and some even have bioluminescent markings. (Which Venus does have.) This is due to their planet's lighting being of the same color and being mainly made up of water. Also should be noted that eye colors for Turtleloids are generally some shade of grey, blue or green.
