Im testing soon for second degree black belt, and I can completely relate to what you're saying. I had to go through all of this, and wouldn't trade a single minute of it for anything.]

I love this!!! Alot of people don't appreciate how much effort it takes to become a black belt. I really didn't grasp it all the way untill we had a foriegn exchange student in our Tae Kwon Do class who is a third degree black belt. She told us that in Kore they train five days a week. That requires a lot of dedication.
Kudos and thanks to all of the black belts and above out there. You really inspire meer green belts like me.

I miss Tae Kwon Do, had to give it up because of class, college is hard work (even if you point out otherwise). I love martial arts, so I quit tae kwon do after two years of practice to join the college judo team.
No point in doing something you don't like, but there is a world of reasons to do something you love.

in my style you have to run 5 miles do the splits all three way and do at least 100 push ups and 300 sit ups plus spoarring and breaking then all your stuff from white to red senior.

lol, how long does that takes? 1-2 hrs?
and howls for splits lol
if you practice enough you don't need to split.
be honest, sit-ups and push-ups are useless.
goto proper gym, they have proper equipment.
