self explanatory [mythical chinese nymph of ______ (whatever, fill in the blank to what you think it should be, I couldn't care less)]yes leave it up to me to paint watercolor on normal drawing paper, and using a water SOLUBLE pen to do the outlines before coloring, causing severe smudging and bleeding, and other problems
it was done about a year ago, when I got a water color set [I haven't done nor touched watercolors for about 5 years at that time] and I picked the first sketch I saw in my sketchbook and colored it.
I did a thirty seconds quick cleaning in photoshop, so it's still pretty messy.
maybe I'll send it to the scraps gallery soon, where it probably belongs

You know, for the problems you've described - I don't see any evidence of it in the drawing. Personally, I think this is just fabulously gorgeous. With a very intriguing style. I'll have to look through your other stuff and compare/think about it to see if I can describe what I mean.

Very nice choice of colors! In terms of a critique, I would say that her head appears to be positioned on her neck incorrectly. It seems like the head should be shifted slightly to the left. Extra shading on the ribbons might help to prevent them from looking too flat. Other than that, I like it a lot!

while I was doing that 1/2 minute quite cleanup, I've accidentally erased part of her finger [the eraser option was set to 30%, and that's why the finger is somewhat visible]
ah well, atleast now she's special.....
