Description We got lost in Boston and spent an hour in traffic to make a ten-minute drive from where we saw Honor Society at a movie theater to where the JB concert was.

But it was totally worth it.

BOSTON.. ahaha

I almost went to that show (of JB's last month) but had other issues re: timing and finances, heh.

How did you like the FleetCenter? (er.. BankNorth Garden.. pfft, I take forever to get used to new names ) I live right north of it on the New Hampshire line, so it's my fave concert venue. The first time I was gonna go there tho, way back when, I didn't, becuz I wasn't sure how to get there from the train station.. well later- soon after, actually- I then realized that, the FleetCenter *iS* the train station! lmao (it's also called North Station and one of its lines/routes has a stop going in and out of my lil town, which is why I was taking the train)

I wonder if JB had stayed anywhere in Boston, if it was at the Ritz-Carlton.. a fave hotel of certain concert ppl.. (good memories, hehehe)

I really liked the Garden...it's waaaay bigger than the Hartford XL Center, what I'm used to xD. But, like true small town girls, we got lost and ended up city-bashing because we were annoyed. xDD Once we got there, though, totally worth it. A great show, sorry you couldn't go
I think they did stay at the Ritz, but not positive.

Haha, no worries- I understand about the getting lost issues! Personally I'm the type who obsessively does research about areas before setting off for them- not only do I map out exactly where the venues are, but all the possible local hotels and transportation, and even fave stores and fast food restaurants! LOL- but even then, there's always the chance that any lil thing could get you turned around and in the middle of nowhere! (I can't tell you how many times I've taken the Boston subway back and forth yet STiLL get confused about which lines go where and if I'm on the right one / going the right way!)

It actually reminds me of a concert trip just last year- it truly WAS in the middle of nowhere (northern NH.. when I'm more at ease in north MA), so I had to get directions online and a ride from an older relative person with a better car for the distance, lol (than the one I currently have access to) and even tho I had pretty clear directions, my friend who was going with, kept getting all antsy cuz it never seemed like we were going the right way, cuz there were NO signs! But every time we stopped and asked.. we were. Memorable trips, eh? lol

Ah, the Ritz.. so I guess you didn't get to stick around and try and run into them?

Yeah, I obsess over printed directions, but they usually fail hahaha. I'm getting a GPS for my birthday so I've got exactly a month of getting lost left. xD And subways? Forget about it, I'd end up at the opposite end of the city ahah.

LOL omg I want a GPS so bad I've seen them in action and it's so aawwwesome, either that or a laptop with truly wireless-anywhere-internet so I can use Google Maps (I looove their satellite and street views!) everywhere!

Ahaha, I'm still so *anxious* on subways, I can't even ever let myself get comfortable cuz I'm always worried I'll miss my stop too- I don't understand how ppl can read and ride at the same time!
