I love Thalia, she's so awesome and she so brave and she fought with Luke even though they promised family and she cried as she pushed him off the cliff and she knew she wouldn't be able to withstand temptation so she saved the world by choosing to be a Hunter and she tried to kill Luke even though he looked just like Jason and *descends to tears*
I love Thalia. She's one of my favorite girls of both series. Her and Percy are so alike it's not even funny. She's so epic and I love her taste in music. Alternative all the way baby!
So yeah, I know lots of people draw her with a pixie cut, but I always pictured her having a short, spiky bob cut. Like Piper's only a little more even. And I never headcannon her wearing super heavy makeup. Like seriously? She's running with the Hunter and camping outside. She doesn't have the time (or mirror) to spend an hour perfecting her eyeliner. Though I do think she would wear some dark eye makeup and lipstick later on (for-go the eye makeup if a Hydra suddenly attacks).
And while it's never actually mentioned in the book, I've always pictured her with a nose stud. I mean seriously? Why not. Makes her look awesome.
Now, to my rant about Thalia and her thing with Jason and Luke. After I finished HoO for the second time it dawned on me that, except for the scars, Jason and Luke would look a like. Short blonde hair, light blue eyes, I mean come on! Luke was like a brother to Thalia and Annabeth, and after she had just lost her sweet little brother she suddenly meets this other half-blood that looks like an older version of Jason. And then she becomes a pine tree and when she comes out she finds out Luke is gone too and... it... Like!! THE FEELS!!! Ahhh!!! I just can't ><

Now, XD about the art aspect.
I tried no lines again and I like how this came out. I also tried ambient lighting which is new for me. But hey, I like how it turned out. :3
I had some issues with making the neck and jaw not look connected, but I think that it's handled? I'm not sure. Let me know what you think.

I'm hoping to convince a few people to read the books. You know who you are. (So far I have 2 on my 'to convert' list and 1 on my 'successful conversion' list)
