Agh but with real fish I have to get proportions right and stuff, maybe one day but I like to keep my art low effort and relaxing as I get frustrated really easily.

1. Love the texture, it looks almost real.
2. Sturgeons are ossim.
3. The background doesn't suck, it's just a bit empty.
4. it is spelled "Practice". I think. I'm pretty sure, oh god, now I'M not sure.
5. My favorite prehistoric fish "stuck in the now" would probably be the coelocanth. That or some sort of shark.

Yeah, I do love the coelocanth too, just because it's so very different.

In your context, I'm sure it would've been practise. >-> I do get confused though- like between effect and affect. Practise is the doing, isn't it?

I agree with you when you said that it's better to draw charas your way, i mean creating one, rather than drawing an existing creature, but. . . And i know that this is not important for digital art, but on traditional, it's quite hard to draw the same character twice. For example, when i draw Zac, he tends to look different every time. . .

It is important for digital art if I wanted to draw something in a different pose or something, it would end up looking quite different with different prortions and stuff. Which is why I rarely draw any of my fish any more than once, anyway I have plenty of ideas for new sea creatures!
