Description And the final run of Ancient Magi from back here:

So in addition to Savers, we've been ironing out how a Frontier adaption would go, as well expanding on some lore present in Frontier.

One such piece of lore are the Ancient Magi, created by  . Like the Legendary Warriors, they too are Ancient Digimon who fought Lucemon, created Spirits, and passed down a typing system. In their case, they provided the DigiMemories that comprise the various Fields, Genomes and Species Digimon are assigned to such as Dragon's Roar, Deep Savers and so on.

However, history was not as kind to them as the Warrior Ten, as their memory was left to rumor, barely making it in Bokomon's book: literally they are a crumpled sticky note in one of his book pages. However, Bokomon seeks to change that, as he and the Zoners learn more of a second set of mysterious DigiDestined that have unknown Spirits.

AncientLocomon is an Ancient Machine type and the Magi of Metal Empire. It was born from a database of early locomotive technology, and was the first ever Vehicle Digimon. It was a jolly train that was hard working, and determined to prove it was a very useful engine. It was a wood burning steam train, so it had to devour Woodmon in order to continue running, making it unpopular with AncientTrojamon and other Plant type Digimon. According to Trailmon legend, AncientLocomon created the Trailmon Terminal located in the Real World as an effort to get Digimon and Humans to meet and work together. After the battle with Lucemon, not only did it pass on Human and Beast Spirits, it also passed down the blueprints for the first Trailmon and Locomon to evolve. Its special attacks were Starflight Express and Assembly Line Trolley.

AncientGhedemon is an Ancient Demon Man type and the Magi of Nightmare Soldiers. All well known Virus Digimon like Devimon and Myotismon are rumored to be his descendants. A conman, this slick talking demon preyed on Digimon data by getting them to sign over their Fractale Code in exchange for wishes. He also has some degree of necromancy skills, creating Zombiemon to hunt down clients that didn't pay their debts. His special attacks are Fete Ghede and Here Comes Samedi. After the war, AncientGhedemon passed on his Spirits, Wightmon (Human) and Lichdramon (Beast), to Kaito Tsukino.

Okay, Ancientlocomon is the single greatest digimon I have ever seen.

I'm dead serious, it's a dragon made of train cars, that's badass.

Also, I feel that regular Locomon just doesn't get enough love. I mean, come on, one movie appearance? Seriously?

quick question which Ghede is the festival or  celebration is it based on  or  which  one is being honored or entertained  for anyone who dose   not know what the Ghede are  In Haiti, the Ghede (also spelled Gede or Guédé, pronounced [ɡede] in Haitian Creole) are the family of Loa that embody the powers of death and fertility. Guédé spirits include Ghede Doubye, Ghede Linto, Ghede Loraj, Guédé Nibo and Guédé Ti Malis. All are known for the drum rhythm and dance called the "banda". In possession, they will drink or rub themselves with a mixture of clairin (raw rum) and twenty-one habanero or goat peppers. Fête Ghede is celebrated on 2 November, All Souls' Day ("Festival of the Dead"). All boons granted by the Ghede must be repaid by this date or they will take their vengeance on you.

Papa Ghede is the corpse of the first man who ever died. He is recognized as a short, dark man with a high hat on his head, who likes to smoke cheap cigars and eat apples. Papa Ghede is a psychopomp who waits at the crossroads to take souls into the afterlife. He is considered the good counterpart to Baron Samedi. If a child is dying, Papa Ghede is prayed to. It is believed that he will not take a life before its time, and that he will protect the little ones. Papa Ghede has a very crass sense of humor, a divine ability to read others' minds, and the ability to know everything that happens in the worlds of the living and the dead. Another version of this is Papa Gé from Once On This Island.

Brave Ghede is the guardian and watchman of the graveyard. He keeps the dead souls in and the living souls out. He is sometimes considered an aspect of Nibo.

Ghede Bábáco is Papa Ghede's less known brother and is also a psychopomp. His role is somewhat similar to that of Papa Ghede, but he doesn't have the special abilities of his brother.

Ghede Nibo is a psychopomp, an intermediary between the living and the dead. He was the first person to die by violence, so he is the patron of those who died by unnatural causes (disaster, accident, misadventure, or violence). He is the guardian of the graves of those who died prematurely, particularly those whose final resting place is unknown. His chevals ("horses", possessed devotees) can give voice to the dead spirits whose bodies have not been found or that have not been reclaimed from "below the waters".

Baron Kriminel ("Baron of Criminals") is the enforcer of the Guede. He was the first person to kill another (probably Nibo). As the first murderer, he is master of those who murder or use violence to harm others. Families of murder victims and the abused pray to him to get revenge on those who wronged them. His "horses" have an insatiable appetite and will attack people until they are offered food. If it doesn't please them or takes too long, they will bite and chew on anyone nearby (or even themselves) until they are sated. He is syncretised with St. Martin de Porres, perhaps because his feast day is November 3, the day after Fete Ghede. He is sacrificed black roosters that have been bound, doused with strong spirit, and then set alight.

Oh! I am positively in love with, the very concept, design and overall awesomeness that is AncientLocomon! Now there's a train'mon that can rock and wreck yet still deliver a dependable service! Never shirking duty, always accelerating ahead to the next goal, purely driven and steam broiled wicked~! Now that is a Digimon anyone be lucky to have at their side'.

Personally no~ Indifferent really but clearly he served a use; though as many know, my hatred for Myotismon is, legendary, or just plain meh, still this guy clearly had a hand in a few things, it'll be interesting to see some of his particular descendants.

It's Digimon, most of them are dinosaurs, so why not, lol.

I was thinking of early trains, and thought it'd be fun to fuse it with a dinosaur.

So, AncientGhedemon is basically Dr. Facillier as a Digimon?

Pretty much.

To a degree lol but he would be also more akin to being the 'Liege Maximo" to the Ancient Digimon, they tolerate him to a degree but they DO NOT like him for his actions and personality
