I love this, it's absolutely amazing. Have you been making journals to sell, though? My fiance bought a journal with this exact design on the cover at Borders (I think) in Singapore, and I just saw another being sold at Waterstones' in Leicester last week, too. I'm asking because you don't seem to have mentioned selling your work.

When I first saw this, I thought the "unfair advantage" was because it looked like the girl was tickling the dragon.
...then I saw the wolves at the bottom.

So many details! The use of solid black adds to the story-book feel. I especially like the girl; her hair and the skirt of her dress echo other shapes in the piece so nicely!

The contrast created by the white background is truly marvelous! After looking at your gallery I must say that you are a magnificent artist, comparable to old masters like Arthur Rackham, John Bauer, Kay Nielsen and Ivan Bilibin.

I like how sinister the dragon's smile is, knowing he could just totally drop her sorry butt to be eaten by the wolves. I mean the dragon isn't even that far off the dragon either, it's as if it's teasing her showing her whose boss.

I love the little girl's face, the pattern on her sleeves (and the ruffles on her dress; so cute!), and the dragon's scales. It's those intricate details that really make this great.

I love that it's not immediately apparent that the landscape is snowy - creates a very interesting abstract effect. The little girl's faintly rosy cheeks are so pretty, too. I'm rooting for her, though she doesn't seem to need it.
