Description I was feeling frustrated & angry earlier today so I drew some ninja with flowers... It just made me feel a whole lot better for some reason. >.< Daaaaaang it. I tried to make Zane's flower stand out more (cuz it's supposed to be white) but it looks so funky.

Kai- Borage: Borage represents courage in life, bluntness, directness, rudeness, and speaking one's mind. It's as if the flower was meant for him.

Jay- Celosia: I feel that Celosia is the best fitting flower for Jay since it symbolizes humor, fun times, and a silly attitude. That's what makes Jay super likeable, right?  

Cole- Black-Eyed Susan: I chose the Black-eyed Susan for Cole because the flower means encouragement, Motivation in tough times, and natural sense of Justice... and not because it has the word 'black' in it.  

Zane- White Magnolia: Oh Zane, you fabulous Nindroid you!  Zane was a little tougher but the Magnolia stood out in my mind. Magnolias represent dignity, Keeping in faith, never giving up, a love for nature, a sense of nobility, perseverance (steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success), and pure/splendid beauty.

This is a really amazing drawing. I'm a fan of Ninjago and this piece is truly amazing. I absolutely love the flowers you chose for them. Where did you research for flowers that would match them? Also what flower would Lloyd have?

Well, when I was little I had this flower book that had a lot of the generic flower meanings (Like roses being associated with love & such) and since I've been really interested is the symbolic meanings behind flowers. I tend to use UniverseOfSymbolism.com  to start with & then branch off from there. I also use this flower meaning chart which I found online somewhere.... which I can't find at the moment sorry D:
Ah, Lloyd would have to have an Alyssum. It means 'Worth beyond beauty' but is also associated with purity. And when I hear the word purity I think of the innocence of a child. Lloyd, although he is physically a young man, is still just a kid on the inside & his internal child-like innocence sets him apart from the others. Thus, his pure soul is the 'Worth beyond beauty' in my opinion. C:
