Description About the “good” and “bad” Elementals in Frozen II

I just thought a little bit about this whole story with the elements in Frozen II, I’m certainly not the only one.
To begin with, without elements, the world collapses, and those who have the power to control it can do anything. Who has the power to create it…well…that’s another topic and would go too far here.

The fact is that Disney makes these four elements, air - earth - fire - water, abundantly clear and even dedicates chapters to them in the book “The Art of Frozen 2”. I think it is of course an exciting matter to play with the topic in the form of “nature spirits” and to focus on Arendelle and our gang. But is there perhaps a further concern in the form of “pay more attention to nature”, otherwise everything will collapse over your heads at some point?
What Disney thinks is speculation so far and we will know as soon as the book is published.

To the Elementals/Spirits in Frozen II (speculation):

Air or Wind
In every publication, be it posters or merchandise articles, we see these flying leaves around our gang, mostly in direct connection with Anna.
I don’t think it has anything to do with “powers” that Anna suddenly has, but if I look at Anna’s character, I have the impression that she loves - as a singular aspect - both nature and outdoor life, freedom itself.
I see wind, except for powerful and sometimes destructive storms, as a positive force. Wind stands for nature and brings rain and also stands for freedom (I have a picture of sailing ships and the wide world in my head, which also fits to Frozen). This only because the element is shown again and again with flying leaves in Frozen II and I think that this element will be no danger in the sequel.

Earth, rock or the Giants
The basis for nature, durable, large, immovable. Holds everything together. Forces usually work without you being able to see them for a very long time. Unless another element is in play, then masses and forces collapse on us, which can crush us.
With regard to nature spirits who are angry, this is maybe a proven medium of letting someone be crushed by a giant. In Frozen II I consider this a danger, but it announces itself unmistakably and unmissable beforehand.

Fire
The element is indeed life-giving and the basis for every form of civilization, be it in the form of food preparation, the creation of tools or simply for keeping warm in winter. But when it spreads uncontrollably like wildfire, it destroys life and all that it has created.
Perhaps the “cleansing” agent of the Elementals and the greatest danger in Frozen II. In the beginning silent and hardly noticeable, it has the ability to contain life and prevent it from getting away. The following element is the natural enemy of fire.

Water or the Nøkk
Both life-giving and an immense destructive force and not tangible as a whole. It embraces everything and penetrates everywhere, can change nearly everything for a long time and even bring down mountains. As a danger in Frozen II difficult to assess, but I think more helpful than a danger. We’ll see…

So we have two on the “bad” side and two on the “good” side, which is a good balance  I want to say…
