Description Mom saw Wall-E for the first time. At first she wasn't that thrilled, but soon as the movie began with that special chord of that special song, mom ran out of the bathroom shouting "HELLO DOLLY!! IT'S HELLO DOLLY!!"

Then mom surprised me in return: she owns the exact. same. musical. on tape.

we dug out the VHS player and watched it right after Wall-E was over. and OH MY GOD!! it IS the same exact musical! every scene they used in Wall-E was right there on the ol' tape! it was like...

... oh god I scared myself, I know it's a movie but I had that thought again that Wall-E's gonna find and own our Hello Dolly tape within the next 700 years, god Pixar made most of that movie look so real

AHA!!!! Both those movies are AWESOME. And like most people, it was because of WALL-E that I know the words to just about every song in Hello Dolly now. I thought it was interesting that at the part in WALL-E where he's watching Hello Dolly and it's zoomed in on Cornelius' and Irene's hands, that wasn't part of the original Hello Dolly. They fixed that part of the movie just for WALL-E. I thought that was pretty cool that it still looks like part of the original, it's THAT GOOD. LIKE YES. ITS REDONCULOUS.

A MUST SEE MOVIE!! stars Barbara Streisand, Walter Matthau, guest stars Louis Armstrong and is beautifully directed and coreographed by the late great Gene Kelly it's two hours and twenty five minutes (roughly one hour longer than Wall-E), but those sixties movie musical folks KNOW how to make a GREAT film! no WONDER Wall-E watches it every night!

in that case, find it on rental or cheap on ebay and wait twenty minutes for "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and fast forward twenty minutes towards the end for "It Only Takes A Moment"

I just like Hello Dolly, the ending, the animation, the plot for all ages and flavors (comedy, action, drama, romance, family, children, etc....) and everything else, I think Wall-E might be my new favorite Pixar film

I know! Wall-E is so unique and original in so many ways. especially the ending! but I won't talk about that cause I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't watched it

Know why Wall-e is great, cuz ANDREW STANTON wrote it. He's the best guy working at Pixar.

remember how much of a smash hit Finding Nemo was? well...Andrew Stanton!
