Sometimes the light is overpowered by the dark...It's been a long time since I've been able to successfully draw Animus and Nex, and in such a way corrusponding to the facets of my personality. No I don't have two of them xP, but here's the break down for you.
Animus represents everything good in and about me. While Nex is her total opposite, respresenting the dark, the sad stuff, the anger. As you can see the dark is choking down the light, while the light struggles fruitlessly to get away.
It's a bit more accurate of how I've been feeling lately. And yes, that necklace-now-noose represents something, you can figure that out though. XD

I love the ruggedness of this piece. The darkness and rawness is conveyed very well through the rough, scratchy lines you've used. If that makes any sense at all

I can see where you're coming from with that thought on the necklace. But it is actually a little letter 'A'. If you look at most of my pics with Animus, she's almost always wearing it.
