Calathea is a passionate young mare, with a lots of love for her family. She is dedicated to her apprentorship, patient, and loving.

BackStory
Calathea was born as any other kuda, in a happy family. Curious and Adventurous, she decided to venture a bit far, and got lost.
She cried and prayed to the holy turtle to bring her help, which came in the shape of a tall palomino kuda, wearing a dark brown cape, accompanied by 2 eight month olds foals
They tried to help her find her way, ask around for her parents, feeding the filly with any mares having a foal too they could find, but after 5 months of traveling, it was becoming apparent the parents where unfounable, and the little filly, now almost weaned, Calathea considered the little trio her family, and expressed no desire to find her birth parents anymore.
She joined them as they decided to settle in the Horsewood Village, as their little sister.

Nowaday
Calathea has expressed a deep interest in magic and plant healing. She is not a magical being by any mean, meaning the magic she is learning is mostly using the magic of nature around her through stone and cristals. She is also learning how to create herbal medicine.
She is currently the apprentice of the swanp witch Matcha, healer of the Horsewood Village.
