Description
Prismacolor/mech. pencil, no ink in this at all and no reference for the pose/outfit. Just a practice on coloring, perspective, composition, folds etc. So if this is inaccurate or in general bad, it's because I was working on some of my worst fears when it comes to art. Failed at some things and had to touch up in Photoshop CS.Every time I look at this it makes me yawn, damn contagiousness >>

I love this picture! I really love when you color with colored pencils, honey. You are so good at it. Also, it's great how you dew it and didn't erase the pencils lines when you colored it. It gives the pic such depth.

I think the perspecive came out beautifully. There's almost a three-dimensional quality to it. Even in the thumnail you could tell that it was an overhead view. The forshortening on her trunk (chest and abdomen) are really great.

Well I'm fighting the urge to yawn myself and so far I am winning.
But I love the prespective on this one!! So good it is, and the bed cloth looks nicely textured too... and well of course, the main character, nice job mixing a human yawn and a cat yawn. Must be what makes it so contagious.

Woah, this is really amazing!! I think this might be my favorite piece of yours, if only because you took risks and pulled it off so well! The perspective looks so amazing, I love the angle of it, and the hand that she's reaching backwards looks so good! All the creases in the bedding look so real and I love how you did her top!! Really great work!

I really love the perspective, you made it appear as if there was a camera above her and that's a hard perspective to show. The folds in the blankets look very nice, I love how you shaded them. The character's design is something I also like, her loooong fluffy tail and occasional spots. Her ears are gorgeous and the pose is divine. Great work, I love it.

I think it looks nice. It's always hard to try and draw something out of the norm, but I think you pulled it off pretty good. The pose is nice, and the folds on the sheets are way cool.

how DID you keep from going insance with the meticulousness of those folds and detail of the fur and hair?!

Don't feel that frustrated with the perspective.Think that making it is very hard and you did it good enough to show without realizing any mistake(sincerely,it's hard to realize them) Vera has a good clothing this time,I really liked the long socks and the pose of the legs.The hair and the fur has a good colouring.The expression really incitates to yawn,because I did it...or maybe is because I'm commenting this picture at 1:00 am?
Whatever,just one thing I disliked:I wouldn't added the mark or painted the floor with photoshop.Although you first see the figure and the bet,soon or late you end watching other details of the image and the change from traditional to digital media is uncomfortable for me.
Maybe I spoke too much for a practice drawing,but I think these ones are the best ones to be commented,because you could do a better version or simply,as you've learnt of your mistakes,you won't do them and you'll avoid them.
