Doodle of my OCs Lupé (werewolf), Cheyenne (sorceress), and Veronica (vampire).Hopefully one day I'll be able to make a comic series about my monster characters. I've been developing these three a little more lately (mostly Veronica) and I'm pretty excited about them. Cheyenne and Lupé have been friends for ages (their parents work together) but they meet Veronica at the monster summer camp and become a fun trio.

Her name is Jessica and she looks very similar to Cheyenne and I just realized I don't have any decent art of her posted. Whoops. (It's kinda cause I thought that I would keep the characters a secret until i actually made the comic. However, I really want to talk about them and I decided not to work on the comic itself to much until I am more confident in my art, so I am going to post art of them eventually. I think I'll make a nice group pic and then post all of my trashy sketches.)
Anyway, she is a 13 year old book worm and photographer living with her neglectful mother. She inherits a box of magical items from a deceased relative (not sure what relation yet, I'm thinking an uncle). Ecstatic that magic is real, she goes off on an adventure, hoping to become just like the heroes in her books. Undenounced to her, the people she pegged as the "villains" are watching from the shadows, making sure she doesn't get herself hurt. Just cause they run a slightly illegal items market doesn't make them evil, Jes.
She's very curious and confident, but she is also reckless and a little bit selfish. She does judge on first appearances but if a person proves to be a mentor figure she will pretty much listen to everything they say. She takes criticism well, and likes to keep things simple.
I guess I don't know Cheyenne's personality, but she seems like a joyful, youthful magician. Jessica would love the magic aspect and, depending on how old Cheyenne is, Jessie would probably cling to her like a lizard.

I totally get keeping characters secret at first (I used to do that) but I actually recommend posting them because if you do make a comic, it’s good if your audience is already a little invested in your characters before the story even starts. ^^
But anyway I think Jessica and Cheyenne would be friends! Cheyenne is 14 (the story takes place summer before 9th grade for her) and quite bubbly and friendly - every stranger is a potential friend to her. She likes learning about people and uplifting them but she can take it personally if she feels uneeded by others. Cheyenne is also curious so it sounds like she and Jess could get into some wacky adventures together~ (maybe they would pretend to be sisters or something, haha)

Well, I created Lupé back in 2016, and I've been doing stuff with Cheyenne and Veronica for the last 5-6 years, so that's probably what you're thinking of. Almost all my OCs are human-looking monsters for a big story I've been working on for about 8 years so they're always popping up. ^^
