The 7 new characters available to be voiced in the last Dinosaur Dynasty casting call: youtu.be/Qn1Jbs7hZyc
From left to right they are Alina (balaur), Vlad (balaur), Cliff (hypsilophodon), Sophie's Mother (parasaur), Extra Deinonychus, Extra Utahraptor, and Slash (therizinosaurus).
My favorites are Alina and Vlad; I've had in mind their colors for a while, but this was my first time drawing them out in full color.

So recently, in an attempt to make my gallery more professional-looking, I stopped uploading art drawn with hard-edge pixels. (Except for DD screencaps.) This is sort of another exception; the characters were drawn this way because it's faster and because it's how they will appear in the actual animation.

They are some of the weirdest vertebrates! I wish more people knew about them, haha. My hope is that one will appear in Jurassic World later this decade but who knows. :3

Not long. It was announced at a ComicCon just last year. I doubt it'll actually come out until more like 2017.

I like to match the accent to the dinosaur's location, but it's not required. The two balaur are Romanian, but the others can have any accent, despite their origins.

i want to voice Alina, though i have a West-European accent, could i still try? ;3;

I'd like you to at least try to do an Eastern European accent also, but the accent is not so important for Alina, so Western is okay too.
And ideally Vlad and Alina should sort of match, since they're from the same place. ^^ But I don't know if I'll be able to get a good Eastern accent for Vlad, so if Alina is not totally Eastern it wouldn't matter that much.

It's a strength and a weakness; dinosaurs make my animations stand out, but at the same time people may not like dinos as much as fluffy cats and dogs.

I think if I finish DD I might go for something totally different. Or I might focus on feathered dinosaurs - then you get the dinosaur and the fluff in one place.
