First post of 2019. What a happy one.Those new here; that's me beating the shit out of my romantic side personified. In the past I've always drawn them at me besting me; even in arts you can't directly see them in.
However, I am done. I'm exhausted of Romance coming around, ripping my heart out, and otherwise hurting me. They can fucking die for all I care. I swear if they show their face one more time within the next 10 years, I'm going go implode.
I've had my heart won twice already in my lifetime; neither times was it wanted, and I'm just... sick of the pattern. Sure; they say 3rd times the charm, but I don't even want it. I dread that ever happening, because I know that it's not going to end well for me.
My romantic side can die, or else face my wrath. Their choice.

I know the feeling. I've had bad luck with romance.
Any time I find someone interesting, they're one of the following:
Not into what I'm into
Taken by another person
Married to another person
Or not into women at all
On that last one, to me, love has no borders, but I'm one who likes men, hence an entire favorites folder dedicated to Levi Ackerman and one other that I'll let you see for yourself.
What I'm getting at is that I know how it feels to have your heart played with. I had to deal with that in High School with a jerk playing the flirty type but was never serious. So I had enough and turned him into the principal to have a chat. Know what happened? The majority of my class got on to me for standing up against him. I also had boyfriend issues in college and ever since then, love has not been good to me when it comes to finding one for my own.
But don't completely abandon the romantic side of you fade. I kept my romantic side alive by looking to anime and video games, for guys that I like to be my boyfriend and all of that. I still have hopes for finding someone, and I keep that hope alive by finding examples of the perfect guy for me. Does that make sense?

It does make sense what you say. That is part of reason why I formed this whole polyam hexad after all haha. My reality is different from yours; naturally of course, and the way I function. And truly, I'd rather just let my romance dwell on my headspace fantasies than on the foolish notion there is a person or persons out there who would proudly be by my side and I at theirs. If I get surprised and suddenly this person or people come into my life; great! But I'll not be holding empty hope onto that, and rather just keep focused on my fictions.
That's not to discourage you from keeping hope; in fact I think it's wonderful that you do! There's beauty and magic in that alone! I just function differently, and I'll function better in this method.
You truly have lovely vibes; I do hope you find whom you seek and get to experience the truest forms of romantic love. ♡

Yeah, I don't miss it either, except for the good memories, like lunch and music class.
And yes, I agree. And, as cliche as this sounds, everyone has their own unique outlook on life, and rather than judge it, like some people I know, I choose to respect them and support their ideals, so long as they don't force their ideals on me or tell me that I'm wrong.
And you're right about the connections. If they like me and I like them, then that's fine.
But with love, I'd rather wait and see if someone has the courage to tell me their true feelings, rather than me try to fight and take them away from the happiness they already feel.
And I don't feel discouraged. Like I said, everyone has a different outlook on life and I have no right to tell a person that their way of thinking is wrong, as that's how it is. If a person changes their mind, it's their own decision, not mine or due to my influence. ^^

I've watched it a few times and still can't get enough of it. I watch it whenever I feel stressed or wanna fall asleep to something. It's not intense like Attack on Titan or HunterxHunter, but it has some moments of energy. However, fair warning, it can make you hungry XD
