Description Warning: THIS IS A VERY BIG PICTURE!!!

Lol well...I've been lagging behind due to RL school

anyways, the current assignment was to do 30-90 second gesture drawings with 1 gesture study included

the site provided to do these gestures were, to my surprise, very useful. However it erked me over the fact that some of the angles for the poses were a bit too dynamic. Considering that some of the pictures provided are only possible if you sat/laid directly underneath the model.

Yet gotta say this was fun to do 83

Critique ^^

I think you've done a pretty good job on the 30 and 90 seconds drawings as well as on the 15 minutes drawing, it already have a good balance and a clear pose. My suggestion is just I think you should work more with the detail, the shading, and clean the sketchy lines a bit more ^^

Man, I can't believe you capture the pose so well. I like all the poses, every single one. You captured movement, balance, and so on. But with the figure study, I think you could have taken it farther and add a little bit more shadow just to establish where the light source is. However, you did a great job.

Critique!~

looks great and shows good movement and pose!
The last one could be a bit more detailed, that's all I would complain about.

DAA Critique:
The gesture drawings look really good, you really captured the movement in each pose. As for the figure drawing, I really like the sketchy feel to it. It would have been better if you added a bit more shadows and highlights, but its still very good.

heh thanks very much
tho I really like dealing with 1 minute poses, as long as I can get the form then I'm content with what I have

yeah that problem I have as well with doing quick poses I get stuck with details. I think I'm too stiff lol but really I can tell in all pose where your going to form I mean flow of weight. Love the way you got fore ground parts down good I always chop crap ^^ like why isn't that leg that right length lol

keep up the great work ^^

These are really nice! Are these markers, or are these done in Alias Sketchbook? It's hard to tell.

Gesture drawings are loads of fun! I should do it more often, I only do it once every 4 weeks here.

ah actually I did this all on photoshop
they had this site called posemaniacs.com where they have some 3D still you can use for ref. You can set the timer from 10-90 seconds for each pose, so it really comes in handy

and yeah gesture drawings are so much fun. I try drawing little kids whenever I visit a park or playground. Challenging but fun 83
