Finished~Gosh, working on these kids has been a pain in the ass. Miss Diva in particular was the worst.
A fifth kid was added because of reasons. He's cute. β₯
I think they're well balanced ... it bugs me a little that I think there might be a pattern with their genetic but oh well. I was going to explain each kid but I think you guys can make the comparisons and see what they got from each parent~
These designs are final, I'll probably post reference sheets for each some other time, and I should do the same with Mark and Winry's family β₯

I really like how you did this. How you wrote their names, nicknames and years. You also really mixed up the traits for the kids, not having any one child look too much like just one of the parents.
The Shadows adds a nice contrast from the characters and the background.
I also love how well you did the details. The twins' hairstyles are very much alike but you can see differences, like there should e.
Anthony also has a little pacifier near him and his bear, something that I would personally overlook if I were to create something like this.
Emily and Eddy seem to be very close in hairstyles, and it's a unique, how they both have 'dad's' stray hair, though the color is slightly different.
I love that Eddy is the only one with 'mom's' beauty mark. I also just thought of this, is it possible the twins have pony tails like their dad?
Overall it's an amazing artwork, I think. Very Detailed, but not too much, ya know?

I love the way the red hair contrasts with the golden eyes.
Whenever I see OC pairings that have children, I often wonder why they don't go as far back as like the grandparents traits.
It's completely obvious that Hohenheim's genes were dominant, but it'd just be nice to see like a splash of chestnut hair or emerald green eyes in a future child.
Damn science.

Ah well yes, his genes are dominant. I've always taken Xerxenian characters as similar to Ishvalans in that matter, they seem to have very strong genes. The reason you don't see that often though, is probably because it's hard to get away with that and still have the children look enough like their parents, this is particularly a problem with OcxCanon ships because people don't know the OC and its family by default like they would with canons. I did try different pallets for the kids here, but it just wasn't working. Tho, either way, I think Al is more likely to pass on his mother's genes. :3

What I like so much about EdPriss is, how natural their relationship is. The same for EdJen. I think that you and created very unique and nice characters with another personality like Ed's. I'm just sick of many OCs who are just genderbended Eds and selfinserts.

The children have all something of both parents, that's great. They also seems to be very unique characters ^^ The colouration is also beautiful as always *.*

I really like this! But, whenever I envisioned Ed having kids I thought he would name his first daughter Trisha after his mother. I really like how you drew Eddy very handsome. Emily is lovely, she looks like such a pretty girl, and such a drama queen. The twins are so cute, they take after their mother a lot. Baby Anthony is so~ adorable. And of course Edward and Priscilla, love it! In my opinion Priscilla is better for Ed because with Winry it just seemed wrong. Like incest or something. Don't get me wrong I love a good EdxWin fanfiction just as much as the next girl but if you think about it..... *shudder*. I just love your OC and I hope I can get a Tablet soon so I can start on my own. Also, I love the whole WinxMark thing! He seems Perfect for her! keep doing what you do! :3

Enrealidad no es tan diferente del original, quiza mas brillante. Es el tono que se llama "strawberry blonde" aun no entra en rojo. o3o/ ... pero si Emily ya los tenia azules en las primeras refs y pics que subi... y bueno porque le iba a meter un tono claro de dorado pero Nova y yo no nos poniamos de acuerdo.
XDDD Dicen que las madres siempre saben distinguir a sus gemelos, y bueno eso si que llevan el flequito de lados opuestos ademas del color de la ropa.

Adding traits not seen in them will result in the kids not looking like they are theirs. Some of the girls tried this and it didn't go well. The thing with designing fanchildren is that you have to stick to the looks of their parents but still make them look different, which is the difficult part.
I'm sticking to his name, I know a good deal of Ed's fankids are named after him so it's overdone, but I like it, and I could see it happening in the canon... also, going by Eddy will never be as bad as going by Ed Jr.

Ed and Al are only get traits from them, especially with their original color palettes and in the first series Al's color palette is only darkened due to Trisha's genes, like with Eddy's hair here. In the manga they both have the same shade of golden hair and eyes. Ed gets his looks right from Hoho and Al gets more traits from Trisha, like his eyes. Even if they had unique traits, they're canon characters, and people will not question this, they just know who their parents are, it's different with fanchildren because people don't know these characters, so who their parents are has to show.
It sounds rather sarcastic, even aggressive, I wouldn't word things like that.... and what stops you? Although there's really no info on these kids here yet. These are just the final designs.

yes but they don't look substantially like either of the parents. hair is very diferant for one not just in color. but its just an example. its your chice do do what you want. I just thinking throwing a few more things to differentiate the twins or eye colors might be interesting.

Ed's identical to young Hoho... and you're talking about hairstyles... and even with these Ed and Al still get similar hair, if Trisha had short hair it would look similar to Al's.... which isn't exactly a good thing, but yeah just explaining that.
I've even played around with hair textures with these kids. Eddy's hair is a strawberry blonde color and it's wavy like his mother's but it has his father's texture.
Emily has her mother's texture but her dad's color, her eyes are a mix of both and they're blue like her mother's.
The twins have straight hair like Ed's but with more volume like Priss's, their mom's hair color and eye shape and dad's eye color.
Tony has Ed's eye shape but blue eyes and straight hair like Ed's but red, not exactly his mother's shade, it's lighter but yeah.
Differentiate the twins? They're identical twins not fraternal twins, they're supposed to be identical, the way to tell who is who is with their bangs and the colors they wear. They get different hairstyles when they get to their teens though, but little twins are usually like this.
I get what you mean with the mixing, and many things were considered, the kids have been extremely hard to design, I've been working on this for a year. We tried golden eyes on Emily, but we wanted a different shade, it just didn't work, in the end these were the designs we picked, and there's a reason for everything.

... but they have the most original/different bangs along with Tony... Emily's bangs are similar to her mom's and Eddy's to his dad's.
It's probably the nice blue-golden contrast. It bugs me when people ask if she's Winry's even if Winry's eyes are way darker tho.

XD I know, but Ed is said to have a big family in Chronicles, so even if he's with Priss and not Winry here, Priss loves children, so I thought a big family made sense in this case too.

Yeah, my aunt Dionne had enough trouble when all four of hers had to be looked after, and on her own. Driving was worse. I mean, who wouldn't have borderline raod rage if you had four hyper blood children plus two non-blood cousins (my borther and me) and a rottweiler that will not sit still in the back of a 4 x 4?
