D&D Campaign Characters - Waru the Endbringer, Warlord of the Blood Blade Clan, Ruler of the Hills of Onar.

One day, while in the presence of his warlord, the capable and loyal warrior, Bashadi of Rahn, sought answers to a difficult question.

Bashadi of Rahn: Warlord, I ... have a question.

Waru the Endbringer: Speak your mind, Bashadi, I encourage it.

Bashadi of Rahn: What one trait must a warrior possess to attain greatness? Is it raw physical strength? Resilience? Mastery of many weapon techniques and battle tactics? What do you think? Which is it?

Waru thought for a brief moment then replied.

Waru the Endbringer: I cannot argue against the traits that you have listed, Bashadi. Each one of those traits is essential for every warrior throughout the realms wishing to attain success. Bear in mind, Bashadi, success and greatness are two very different goals. That said, there is one trait that I believe that is vital to any warrior seeking greatness, and it is not on your list.
