A novice Wolfsbane pilot on his first tour learns the hard way not to disturb the wildlife. The adult Tivornya Worms are usually not predatory, but are territorial and will respond violently to movement and vibrations, erupting from seemingly nowhere to defend it's lair.

Liderc C is an unforgiving moon, possessed of great mineral wealth. It's ecosystem is toxic to human life, and the creatures that have adapted to it are largely composed of the minerals, and frequently possessed of acids to help them break down rock and ore for their own consumption.
