"Once an innocent Ga Matoran, she and many others suffered greatly at the hand of Makuta Icarax. They were taken to Karzani, brutally modified, and thrown into a cruel tournament where they had to fight off hordes of corrupted Rahi for Icarax's own pleasure. The only thing that kept them going was a wish that would be granted to the victor. She was permanently outfitted with the Icarax Suit, which bolstered her strength, speed and durability. Though not a killer, Karesha managed to defeat her foes easily by knocking off their masks. It's because of this that Icarax refused to grant her wish, instead opting to kill her. When she managed to defeat the twisted vehicular monstrosities that were once Icarax's Toa Hagah, the Makuta teleported her away from Karzani and to the land of Rahi Master Makuta Bi'oh. Though the Rahi were once again no problem for her, Bi'oh proved more difficult with the power of his Kanohi Zawaru, which allowed him to stop the flow of time around him. The battle between the Master and the Breaker was legendary. From the rising of the GSR all the way to the defeat of Marendar, their battle raged on without falter. Finally, the Rahi Master took a moment of contemplation. He was without words, for he never expected even Teridax himself to be a match for him, let alone an altered Ga Matoran from Karzani. That single moment of contemplation proved to be a grave mistake. While Bi'oh was lost in his thoughts, the mighty Matoran finally landed a devastating punch right to his face. The blazing strike shook the earth as the Kanohi Zawaru shattered like glass. The Rahi Master's power had suddenly abandoned him, as he was left at the mercy of the champion of Karzani . Though her weapon was broken beyond repair, and the Icarax Suit was banged up to all hell, Karesha was victorious. In an effort to save his own life, Bi.oh offered the Rahi Breaker a beautiful gemstone as a gesture of peace. When Karesha touched it, a blinding light filled the room. It was then Bi'oh made a horrifying realization: He had just given the most dangerous Matoran in existence....a Toa Stone. The damaged Icarax Suit quickly fused with what little remained of the original Matoran, forging a new body. Bi'oh cowered in fear at the newborn toa that stood before him. The poor makuta begged for mercy before a blazing fist ripped through his torso. There he laid, his antidermis pooling around him, as the Huntress of Karzani crushed his head under her boot."

Introducing Toa Karesha, the Huntress of Karzani. With the quick touch of a toa stone, I turned the weaponized Ga Matoran from a non-lethal freight train into a deadly toa of kickass. Okay, her element is actually water, but you get the idea. Her new body basically has all the benefits of the Icarax Suit cranked up to eleven, while also feeling like a natural body and not a disembodied torso. Upon migrating to Spherus Magna and catching the attention of Toa Helryx (who is looking to bolster the toa once more after Marendar slaughtered just about half of them), she was made a member of the newly formed Order of Spherus Magna. With her expertise in handling Rahi, Karesha was made the head of the order's new Hunter's Division. She was given special sword that acts as a conduit for her energy powers, as well as a quad barreled shrapnel launcher to replace her shockwave emitter. Karesha has since collected trophies of all her successful hunts, which she sometimes crafts into armor.
