At first I also thought she was a Syrphid but after looking at the wing I think she looks closer to a Bombyliid. The closest match are the Villa spp.

This one actually has a very long proboscis but my photo showing it is not sharp

I'm changing it to a Drone fly! It was a Syrphid after all. Apparently i photographed both in the same day and I thought I was photographing the same fly. I'll upload the beefly later.
