A redone version of rar1990.deviantart.com/art/Bea… . I just felt like doing it over and I feel it was worth it. I don't do "do overs" often, but as of late I've done a couple. They kinda help me encourage myself and let me know I am getting better. I mean I gotta look for encouragement somewhere inside me, when its lacking around me. Then more then likely go back to crying in my pillow over the lack of encouragement, later. It sure would be nice to go to the beach right now like myself in the picture. Too bad I haven't gotten the opportunity. It probably would brighten up my spirits a bit. I honestly hate to a downer, I just feel sometimes like I'm sitting her improving my skill for nothing. Then I have to remind myself that I'm doing this for me. So, I encourage myself, make something awesome, get little to no attention, cry, and repeat the process all over again until you love me. I honestly try not to let it get me down, but it does every time. But it doesn't matter what I say or how well I do.art and me by me

Wow, such an improvement. This doesn't look like it was an easy angle either. I love the expression too. Just a happy picture all the way around.
And yeah, we are always the toughest critics of our own work. All artists get discouraged, so you're not alone. And you are approaching it the right way. Always strive to improve and challenge yourself. Then you can look back at older work and realize how far you've come.
