Sherlock profileWhile I was painting it I was imagining that he is apologizing to John for making him think that he'd died (although I used a shot from Reichenbach as reference, so really he's just deducing and I tried to make him look a little more angsty lol
).I am going to stop painting Sherlock at some point (I really want to do a Doctor Who painting!), but I just love his face, and this show, so much that I can't seem to help myself!
This was done with my wacom, in cs5, in about 6 hours

What strikes me about this piece of art is how....emotional Sherlock looks. Like a mix between sadness and anguish. Which is weird because we all know Sherlock is basically a fleshy machine so what could he possibly be sad about?
