I love the illumination on the man sitting beside the glass. Even though he appears to be made of wires, he has the feel of a sketched-in character, possibly due to his luminence. Striking pose, too.
I love it. +fav

wow, beautiful.
i have something of a fetish for making wire puppets...this figure is so raw, i love the fact you can see straight through, yet its prescence is amazing.
and as it happens, i'm in new york, where my favourite wire puppet resides, a gift to my friend.
you have inspired me to go and document it
thankyou!

Nice work. The man sitting there seems almost real nice work. I think it looks better without the inverse colours.

I love the effects on the wireman and the emotion of the setup... but the shards of glass could stand to be brought out with a little more dodge or lighting, I think... Too much focus on the wireman, beautiful as he is.

ThatΒ΄s amazing...Can totally feel the mood in there... I too feel so powerless, why canΒ΄t one change the past or even the present, why are there things youΒ΄ll always remeber even if you didnΒ΄t want to and why doesnΒ΄t a broken wing heal? Keep up the good work!

I inverted the original image in PS. The glow juz came along with the inversion

milokp In reply to signaleffect [2004-04-08 05:54:06 +0000 UTC]
It /looks/ like an invert.. perhaps with a blue [or red, depending on when] filter added [perhaps in ps?]. /me would have never thought of that.
I really like the work. It amazes me how much work it must have taken to make the figure. Just hope the wife dosn't mind the broken gobblet  The /only/ thing, I think, that detracts from this work is the light reflection in the glass [the bit still attached to the stem], but, like they say, No Worries, right?

Niiiice. I like the broken glass especially. And the angle is pretty good. Did you get any different angles?
