I will continue to post the other work here.
This is the first piece of concept art I created for my world of Bloodborne II, Castle Saovinh. Here is the lore for the piece:
The western continent has seen many royal houses rise and fall over the course of the centuries. Today, many of their names are all but forgotten. But one house stood strong throughout the ages and its roots date back as far as the chronicles of history itself. The royal Saovinh bloodline has always lived secluded in a remote part of the continent behind ever growing walls. Due to the ongoing expansion of the castle and its long history, its districts vary in age and also architectural style. Although the inhabitants look down upon foreigners and avoid the outside world like the plague, desperate souls go on a pilgramage to the castle. Most of them are stricken with illness and in search for a cure. Although it is mostly just rumors, the Saovinh nobles are said to possess the means of blood healing. Yet, the journey to Saovinh castle is arduous and full of danger. Abhorrent creatures lurk in the dark forests surrounding it and prey upon weiry travellers. To search for help or rest in the neighbouring cities and villages is in vain for the residents deny any rumors about the healing blood and seem to tremble in fear whenever the name Saovinh is spoken out loud. Countless of these people have gone missing over the course of the last decades to the point that once vibrant cities have evolved into ghost towns. And yet, they never get tired to reaffirm that the missing are simply fools who have ventured too far into the woods and never returned.
