Description Original title: Gandalf the White (on Shadowfax) vs. the Witchking of Angmar (on his dragon steed)

This is dedicated to my dearest brother ~Balrock who wished not a balrog for his birthday but something less childish. I designed the epic battle of Gandalf vs. the Witchking of Angmar in my sketchbook and he agreed that this would be... less childish

This is awesome; that scene always gives me goosebumps in the movie, when Gandalf gallops out to stop the Nazgul attack on Faramir's men. The part in the extended edition when Gandalf faces off against the Witch King was great too. GAH, Just love LOTR so much! XD

thanks Yeah, the scene with Gandalf facing the Nazgul dragons with Faramir's men is one of my many favourite scenes in the LotR Trilogy

Shamefully enough, I have yet to finish reading the books... I'm on the Two Towers now, but I think I might start over because I read Fellowship a long time ago. The LOTR films are hands down my favorite trilogy, so I want to know everything about them. I just love how in the movies they manage to keep the dialog so poetic without making it boring or confusing for the general masses. If the Hobbit movie is bad, I will be SO MAD! XD

I just don't want to believe that the hobbit movie should be bad xD Also, I've read Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers in the past 4 week, and already am 100 pages down on The Return of the King That's how it came that I decided to do a LotR Fan Art.
