Here's a nice Amphibia image I made from "Best Fronds". Hop Pop did find out that they snuck out in a later episode, but looking back he probably let it slide. He probably realized he was wrong to keep them cooped up and not trust Anne. He was too paranoid and realized that he should've trusted them more.
