Jequitinhonha"Fresh cradle of my existence
I bring in my blood all your vehemence
That in the splendor of your source
Come show us your current beauty
Flowing into a placid and vast sea
That gentle and sweet waters irrigate
Your white and chaste bed
Insane humans, arise, punish.
Oh! River of sweet and blessed waters
Your life is our story
In memories, barely remembered
No affection? Not alone.
Your story in memory.
Moonlit life
We can't hurt you
Our life is yours too!

This is my work about the Jequitinhonha Valley. Its my vision from the Valley's history (you can read more about it in here ).
I used coffee stains for the background, black pens, acrylic paint for the white and watercolour for the red.
